Baca and Salaah in the Bible

“How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young— a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God. Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you (selah). Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. Hear my prayer (selah), Lord God Almighty; listen to me, God of Jacob.”
Psalm 84:1-8 NIV

The NIV scholars rendered Salaah as selah in the NIV bible as a footnote.  Clearly here we have mention of people always doing Salaah at the 'house of the Lord'.

Allah knows best!

Holy Quran 3:96
------------------

The first house established for mankind is the one at Bekka; blessed, and guidance for all people.

Holy Quran 3:97
------------------

In it are evident signs; the Station of Abraham. Whoever enters it attains security. Pilgrimage to the House is a duty to God for all who can make the journey. But as for those who refuse—God is Independent of the worlds.

I will add this data to the Salaah document and to the Hajj document inshallah.

Another verse for the detailed Qur'an document 6:154

I have updated the Detailed Qur'an document with the following ayah:

Then We gave Moses the Scripture, making complete [Our favor] upon the one who did good and as a detailed explanation of all things and as guidance and mercy that perhaps in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord they would believe.

(6:154)

This joins the following verse:

[Allah] said, "O Moses, I have chosen you over the people with My messages and My words [to you]. So take what I have given you and be among the grateful."  And We wrote for him on the tablets of all things - instruction and explanation for all things, [saying], "Take them with determination and order your people to take the best of it. I will show you the home of the defiantly disobedient."
(Qur’an, 7:144-145)

This is yet another confirmation that even though the guidance was complete, the Jews would look for more.  Not for guidance, but for misguidance.

A lesson for Muslims.  Do not look for more than the detailed, complete and clear revelation of Allah.

These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement (Lit. hadith) after Allah and His verses will they believe?
